VF Metrology Centre offers customers technology for R&D testing purposes. 

DETERMINING THE RESPONSE OF A METER

  • Irradiator OG-8: Radionuclide sources: Cs-137 (dose rate up to 9 Gy/h), Am-241.
  • Neutron sources: Cf-252, AmBe.
  • Automatic measurement of surface contamination detectors. Certified reference materials containing radionuclides: Am-241, U-nat, Pu-239, C-14, Cl-36, Co-60, Sr/Y-90, Ba-133, Cs-137, Tl-207.

MEASUREMENT OF LINEARITY AND HOMOGENEITY

  • Irradiator OG-8: Radionuclide sources: Cs-137 (dose rate up to 9 Gy/h), Am-241.
  • Neutron sources: Cf-252, AmBe.
  • Automatic measurement of surface contamination detectors. Certified reference materials containing radionuclides: Am-241, U-nat, Pu-239, C-14, Cl-36, Co-60, Sr/Y-90, Ba-133, Cs-137, Tl-207.

POLAR CHARACTERISTICS

  • Irradiator OG-8 - Radionuclide sources: Cs-137 (dose rate up to 9 Gy/h), Am-241.
  • Neutron sources: Cf-252, AmBe.

DETERMINATION OF RADIATION RESISTANCE

  • Irradiator OG-8 - Radionuclide sources: Cs-137 (dose  rate up to 9 Gy/h), Am-241.
  • Terabalt irradiator - Radionuclide source: Co-60 (up to 100 Gy/h).

DETERMINATION OF EQUIPMENT RESISTANCE TO TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY

  • WTB Binder MKF 720 climate chamber:
    • Temperature range: -20°C to 95°C.
    • Humidity range: 20% to 90%.
